Cold one tonight -- yeah winter! But it's 36 with feel like of 29...dropping another few before daybreak. NW winds. All day long, still here thru tomorrow. Makes that cold go right to the bones. Everyone got full bellies at dusk and full hay mangers for overnight, leafy soft orchard. The digestion process will keep them producing body heat. All have shelters. Everyone is fine. 
. Home all day. There was an auction, didn't go...thinking cold and nothing I need to buy. 
don't even have to rush to feed in AM.. Few games of solitaire laying in bed & then to sleep. Need some sleep.

No coffee this morning. Up at 2, dressed and out the door. Sitting in airport, I can board my flight in 1 1/2 hours, but I made it, I’m here!

Good Morning and Happy Sunday! 2 cups in, and I've been filing the pile of paperwork that have been mounting up on my desk.
Saw a few raccoons looking to dine on chicken last night-my little Shih tzu alerted us (she's the tough one in the pack) so DH went running out in the cold to make sure they high tailed it. He's a city boy, so when he came back in I inquired what exactly his plans were, had he been faced with nasty raccoons. "Not sure, probably would have come and got you"
Heading to the barn today, my girl Suzie deserves some saddle time. (and peppermints!) I'm really glad the barn is close. Not looking for much driving today.

@Baymule hope you're having some expensive airport coffee while you wait!!! 
. Ya know, grams go on these trips so THEY can ride the rides with the grands....something many never experienced as children themselves. 
Slept 8 full hrs...nice! Been a while since that happened. Even slow to do chores with hay stacking last night. Coffee and relaxation....ahhhh.
Still cold today...the wind! Now 31 with 24 feel like. Brrr. Back to 60s mid week.
. No plans.

..... but the sun is out and winds have laid down so ought to actually be a nice day.... Guess the wind all blew east to @Mini Horses ..... Got to eat something...... let chickens out of crate, take some warm water out to thaw the waterer... only give them 1/2 gallon when they are calling for this cold. Tonight cold again, but then rest of the week above freezing nights and warmer than average days....
