I wonder how the bee supply is being taken care of. Not as cute to non bee people, they could be neglected more than a chick by some. Yes they ship just like chicks. USPS

Out of our hatching this year we have 1 chick that made it. We also have a hen setting. That'll give us 6-8 more. Not sure how many eggs are under her.

Yep!! Friday. Supposed to be 90* today😅

Three days at home & I'm looking at my "weekend list"... as I enjoy the morning brew. Rest time included, it's needed. Breakfast is on my list right now. Rainy weather is gone for a few days -- we need some dry time!

I have a hen with chicks doing great! 2 dz eggs scheduled for incubator this weekend. Half bought, half from own flock.

New hot wire up. It’s not pretty but it’s hot. I spent more time looking for stuff than stringing wire. :he Dogs are nonchalantly waiting around for breakfast. A hot, muggy day with afternoon thunderstorms awaits. Hubbs is at the golf tournament, back around storm time. Twister is doing ok with weather and fleece and a cooldown is forecast in a couple of days. No news from shearers. Lots of green tomatoes, corn is up and flowers are blooming.

Bro in law sleeping’til noon everyday. It’s 2:00 now and he’s still not up. His health sucks, he’s younger than me but bent over like he’s 95, shuffles when he walks, his hair and beard are white…I’m not very confident he will be capable of feeding for us when we are gone unless something changes drastically…
