@Weldman glad you and your wife are ok. I hate tornados. Grew up with them - green sky = head to basement. Night time ones were not good but that sound is one you don't forget.
Weather pretty normal here, had light fog in the valley this morning, kind of pretty...

Heading to 90 today -- that's a wee bit warm for this time of year.

Thought our rain was gone but a few cells lingered away from the herd. Raining hard now. Expect about 1-1.25" it's hard, straight down. Looks foggy, so much dropping. Darn sure didn't want or need. Grass is way tall, way wet, way annoying. 🥴

At least I got 2 more "extra" posts pounded between others where it seems jumpable -- yeah, goats in front yard again 🤬 frustrating.

Wonder what it would cost to put some motion activated water squirters around? 🤔🤔😡

A few moments of quiet before chaos and confusion reign again. My DD and family arrived last night, with their 2 well behaved dogs and oldest granddaughter’s no manners half pug yearling pup whose mission in life is to blast away at everything. Carson GROWLED at Sammy. Sammy was oblivious, he just wants to play. He barks, Anatolians go beserk. Sheep freak out and run. The 3 intruders are confined to the front yard where they can’t get into trouble. They will mostly stay in the house so Anatolians and sheep can relax a little.
Lucky me. I’m babysitting their dogs while they go on a week’s vacation to Missouri to visit friends. DD and family will leave this morning, be back next Monday or Tuesday.

Wow @Baymule -- that's some "extended" grandma sitting. 🤣

Thought this gloom would be gone but, no. Fog, heat, humidity, sprinkles at will --- booo! I'm going to work. Can't work outside, can't handle another day inside. I need a break! Work seems to be it. I'll do a couple close stores until I'm tired of that and sun comes out to play 🙃 then come on home. Only have 2 slow days this week for jobs. Light stuff.

Hoping the repairs yesterday caught the last of the jumpers spots. Otherwise I'll come home to a couple goats in the yard 🤷Olympians for sure. Most of the time they don't leave the farm -- except when the hay field across the road calls 😖. Same 6...so, at least 4 can be removed. Other 2? An excellent buck & doe...both big Boer :he. Private quarters is next, 5.5' fence.

Another gosling hatched and another one pipping. That will bring us from 5 geese to 20 if all the goslings make it, so far 14 hatched with one waiting to get out and few more eggs in the incubator.

Finally getting a morning routine with the pup. I’d forgotten how much energy puppies have. Leash training continues. Also door and gate manners. Coats are blowing right and left. Floof everywhere. Off to chores I go.

I am officially declaring summer has started here. Why? Because the cold water out of the faucet is warm - yup. True sign of summer - tis what happens when water comes from the Colorado river and aqueducts that run the length of CA. 60-88 today.
