Thank you all for the congratulations. It’s both hard and easy to believe that so much time has passed. There were times when either of us would have traded each other for a dog then shot the dog. A neighbor, a pastor no less, told us after a particularly rough patch and a reconciliation that it was a good thing we stayed together because we were saving at least two other people a lot of trouble. And so we have :lol: at least so far.
 
A minister we went to wouldn't marry us as he said we were not compatible. At our marriage ceremony (Justice of the Peace) my new father-in-law told my mother that he didn't see any point in getting acquainted since the marriage wouldn't last six months.

We would have celebrated 45 years this September if death hadn't parted us. Oh, we had our rough times, but that priest and his dad's words made us both determined to prove them wrong.
 
Coffee is ready. It’s only 94% humidity! High of 95 today. I didn’t make it to mowing goat weed yesterday, probably won’t today either. Going to sort out some ewes for Rocky and turn Little Ringo out with ewes in the front field. I’ll have to carry a hoe handle after I turn Little Ringo out, he’s a jerk. .
