Sometimes we have to swallow our pride...

Not that I would know, but when my watch told me it was 1 out, I decided I needed to see how my treadmill works. Still deciding which is more miserable, the boring treadmill or running in the bitter cold.
Had all of last week off, got mixed feelings about work today, but only 3 weeks until we get another two weeks off. Time to grind.

My treadmill has been calling to me too...I just walk, but it is very boring. Hopefully you'll catch a break and it will soon warm up a bit.

Good morning. Got a busy day today. Need to go to the county offices for my interview to get into the Master Food Preservers program here. Should be interesting - got an email on Saturday that I should give a 5 minute or less "teaching thing". Stewed on that for a bit. (that would make a good pun) -- finally landed on how to cut and slice an avocado. It was that or how to put a choke collar or slip lead on a dog .
Lots of other running around, so no fun grazing sheep.
Woke to 42 and going to 68, early winter here. Looking out this morning the fog bank rolls in -- get to see the top and bottom and the reflection of the sunrise (this is looking due west). Always fun to see.

I almost have the upstairs of the house clean. Just waiting for my oldest to get his current project off of my dining table, drives me nuts...lol Regardless I can now decorate the tree and hang my garlands. I have some new things this year and I'm not going to bring out much of my other decorations. Just keep it simple.

Hubs woke me up around 3:30 this morning. He apologized, I told him it was okay, I'm glad he's mine and it's all part of life.

Time for tea. ️

My new neighbors will be arriving at 1:30 with all their stuff to unload. It’s raining, spotty showers, thankfully the mass of storm is south of us. Son is coming over to help unload. We’ll unload Tuesday too. Talked to @Ridgetop , they will probably come tomorrow. I located pallets for them, free and all they want in Trinity. I’ll follow them over there Wednesday and help them load up. At least, that is the plan for now. LOL

I'm certain they'll appreciate the help . We all know moving has its challenges. They've had to wait a while with weather issues.

Good news!! Tractor dealer called & the new starter is there (warranty) I'll fill my travel mug & coffee there to pick it up first thing in the morning. Still not sure if last parts were the magic ones -- it couldn't start to tell us. I'm hopeful.

Catching up, spent the morning at the vet. Caleb needed a baseline exam and some meds. I also wanted the vet to look at Caleb's foot, the one he's been favoring. It was cut, he got penicillin.

In the afternoon I received a call from an apologetic coworker, needing information while trying to help my former boss. I told her to text me, it's okay. I feel a little sorry for them.

Called the microchip company to update Caleb's name, information. They had a 20% off Cyber Monday offer, so I signed up for a lifetime subscription.

Busy day for being retired...
