Sheep are all fed and everything is good here at the ranch. Temps 45-66 and clear blue. Sorry all you guys with the snow and ice.
For me it's a sit with Kit day!! Love being a gramma.
Also day 2 of the advent calendar I got from Sheepishly Me (Sandi Brock). Haven't opened it yet but it's more than likely a small wool craft. Yesterday was make a small wool ball with a snowflake on it - needle felting.

Rain here. Staying as rain, warm & can't snow 🥰😁 :caf

@Weldman...he can leave opening in straw underpinning for dog to go under trailer, warmer. Dumbarse. So where are goats & horses????
Last time the dogs were loose they chased the horses and one of them lost an eye. So no go on that part of letting them run loose. The horses are in same spot, electric fence is down (imagine that) and the goats have pallet houses covered with OSB sheathing with walls packed with hay. Only thing holding the horses in is poly wire.

Going to be 40 here today and 50 by the weekend. We have to dig up our Canna Lilies and Dahlias today and work on securing the free range pen from the sky. . I think hubs is outside already. I'm enjoying being retired and having a cup of tea first, then, I will go out and help my energizer bunny...lol

Have a beautiful day all! 💗

Morning all. I couldn’t get the house photos to download until just now. A neat place but hard to heat or cool? Also window coverings would probably cost a fortune. And defense would be tougher. I’m calling it a Finer, Better World house. In a finer, better world where climate control, privacy and Zippy the crack head isn’t reeling down your driveway, that would be a fantastic home. Poured at times yesterday with temps in the upper thirties. Moses found his summer digs (quite literally tunnels under an outbuilding) flooded so he had his moment of truth with bxtchy, bossy ewe gang and made himself a nice bed in the barn stall with two round bales. I’m going to fine tune it for dogs only. Hard freeze last night and a couple more on the way. Below are Blind Hazel and Leo. And Leo on alert after a creepy screech in the woods. Probably Larry the lovelorn lemur. Have a good day everyone.

Good evening all!
Went and bought 3 batteries for vehicles this afternoon :barnie all while making phone call after phone call after phone call trying to get somewhere accomplished. :barnie:barnie:barnieMissed being rear ended at 70 mph on the freeway. Ended up leaving a message telling all parties involved in this housing nightmare I am DONE and if things don't change TODAY I am replacing each and every one of them. From the mortgage to the title company. Suddenly things really started happening. The mortgage documents are officially at the title company but after hours so we'll see how fast they get to it in the morning. The sellers are scheduled to go in to sign in the morning at the title office so we'll see if the documents are actually done in time. If so we will meet the notary (part of today's drama) at 7 am our time (9 am MO time) and officially be in closing. Once the bank opens I'll go back to town and wire the funds and supposedly that will make it a done deal. This has been an insanely stressful day but seems to be falling into place tonight.
Other than picking up batteries (hubby already installed) and fighting with all parties involved short of the realtor I've basically gotten nothing accomplished today. Already exhausted. Not much sleep today. Have beans on the stove waiting to be canned and a huge batch of cat food to weigh and package up. Still have chores to do. Tomorrow after the notary and bank (hopefully) I'll take the remaining battery core back and then stop at the tire shop for chains for the truck and trailer so I'm ready if they are needed while moving. Some more truck parts came today but still waiting for the antifreeze order. BRB
I'm back! Ha ha! Antifreeze order just came. Saved well over $100 on a sale and free shipping. Yahoo!! Still have parts coming every day the rest of the week. Hopefully everything will be up and running by the end of our weekend this week. I'm sure looking forward to this house purchase saga being over and moving begins.
Well it's time to get to canning. Y'all have a great night and a fantastic morning!
