Good evening all!
Went and bought 3 batteries for vehicles this afternoon :barnie all while making phone call after phone call after phone call trying to get somewhere accomplished. :barnie:barnie:barnieMissed being rear ended at 70 mph on the freeway. Ended up leaving a message telling all parties involved in this housing nightmare I am DONE and if things don't change TODAY I am replacing each and every one of them. From the mortgage to the title company. Suddenly things really started happening. The mortgage documents are officially at the title company but after hours so we'll see how fast they get to it in the morning. The sellers are scheduled to go in to sign in the morning at the title office so we'll see if the documents are actually done in time. If so we will meet the notary (part of today's drama) at 7 am our time (9 am MO time) and officially be in closing. Once the bank opens I'll go back to town and wire the funds and supposedly that will make it a done deal. This has been an insanely stressful day but seems to be falling into place tonight.
Other than picking up batteries (hubby already installed) and fighting with all parties involved short of the realtor I've basically gotten nothing accomplished today. Already exhausted. Not much sleep today. Have beans on the stove waiting to be canned and a huge batch of cat food to weigh and package up. Still have chores to do. Tomorrow after the notary and bank (hopefully) I'll take the remaining battery core back and then stop at the tire shop for chains for the truck and trailer so I'm ready if they are needed while moving. Some more truck parts came today but still waiting for the antifreeze order. BRB
I'm back! Ha ha! Antifreeze order just came. Saved well over $100 on a sale and free shipping. Yahoo!! Still have parts coming every day the rest of the week. Hopefully everything will be up and running by the end of our weekend this week. I'm sure looking forward to this house purchase saga being over and moving begins.
Well it's time to get to canning. Y'all have a great night and a fantastic morning!
You pull that out here and you will get laughed at in your face, Only two title companies here in this county and it has to be done in this county.

High of 20°F today, it snowed and rained all yesterday with more coming tomorrow. La Nina my arse, more like El Nino

Sounds soooo fun. Hopefully that all works out for you.

My eyelashes got icicles running this morning. Snow in the forecast about every day besides today and one day next week. Our businesses need it, so I won't complain toooo much.

A business that needs snow??? Plowing or skiing?? Naaah, not for me 😁

Sun is shining. I'm enjoying nice hot coffee, looking for that kick. Rained all day yesterday, drizzle, sprinkles, heavy hits, we got it all. Just over 2" of unwanted, unneeded wetness. We have puddles and farm fields with shallow ponds. No equipment going in those.

I'll venture out in a while. Do chores. Look around. Grumble.

Morning everyone! In the mid to upper 30's here today. Supposed to rain tonight through Friday morning... we will see. Then we will be in the 50's over the weekend.

Heading to town for appointments today. But, right now, I'm enjoying a quiet morning, drinking my cup of tea, looking at my Christmas tree and saying good morning to my friends. It always surprises me when I wake up before hubs...lol

Have a lovely day all! 💞

Caleb acted up a bit last night, he's not fully decompressed, so the rest of the week is going to be lowkey, routine: get up, start coffee, feed Debbie, get dressed, take Caleb out for morning needs, feed kibble, then a short Time Out in his day crate so I can feed the chickens and outside cats without excitement. Now he's amusing himself with a Kong bone. :thumbsup

It takes quite awhile to decompress. He's doing great and learning so many new things.
