Good...afternoon. Late start, headed to the farmers' market, but all the half price pumpkins were gone.

Then I went next door to the animal shelter, and got my "dog fix". She's a possible heeler mix:

She saw the feral cats, but when I restrained her she stopped pulling. We also did some heeling work. I try to give them a little training as we walk. She's wicked smart, knew how to slip out of her kennel but I'm not new to sneaky behavior, and stopped her.

If she's around in a month I might try a home trial.

When I lived in the suburbs (80’s) we had trick or treaters. We built a decorative rail fence leading to our front door. Hubbs and I and our three Rottweilers would greet the kids from there. The rotties wore hats and or bandannas or sunglasses. They shook hands, licked faces and accepted dog biscuits. It was a good way to get acquainted and they were good ambassadors for the breed at a time when there had been two child maulings in a nearby town and my hoa was determined to make me get rid of them. Didn’t happen though.

I hope they do something about this. Our country needs to be self sufficient, which means we need to protect our ranchers and limit imports.

I hit snooze twice, finally got up. Absolutely YES on the wait 6 months, now my clock in the truck will be correct. I was ignoring the clock in the car, but it bothered my son and he reset it to the correct time. Now it is wrong again. As far as the oven goes, It is a fairly simple propane stove, but the power goes off so often or blinks, that I don't even bother. Really, I should cover the stupid light with duct tape.

Cell phone? Yes, it is right, as is the time in the bottom right corner of this laptop. I do have a battery operated clock in the kitchen that all I have to do to reset it is a small round dial thing on the back. I can do that, and it keeps me from stomping on it.
