My cousin lives in California and she does pottery. I wonder if she'll be there. Tammy's Pottery Shop. I think they also raise goats. Sadly we don't talk very often, but she's very sweet. Say hello if she's there! 💗

Hope you get some rain.

Have a fun day! 😊

Time for tea alright with this snow, tea-quila :D =D
Tea and quila... not sure I could do that...lol. Maybe a little spiced rum! A caffeine boost with a little warmth added in! 😁

Stay safe and warm, sounds like you guys got hit hard. Thankful we don't really get blizzards.

The local farm that sells meat at the farmers' market announced that they now have beef. I splurged this morning, bought a chuck roast, a brisket, a Sirloin steak :love and bratwurst. I've eaten their chicken and bratwurst before, so I'm confident the beef will be delicious.

Then I went by the animal shelter to walk a dog or two, and am in love.

He's collie/Aussie mix, supposedly, energetic but listened well. We had a long walk, and I taught him that if he sat when asked he got scratched on his chest, neck, and belly. He learned quickly.

When I put him back in his kennel and stepped out, I placed my hand in front of his nose to discourage him from sneaking out. He grabbed my hand in his mouth, and looked up at me, like "Don't leave me". I wanted to take him home right then and there.
:hit

Two more weeks.

There would never be food in the stores here, if everyone panic bought every time it froze during the winter... :gig
Considering what I have heard as a fellow northerner, and I am sure Alaskan and Weldman can relate, we might go weeks without it getting above freezing
I say that, but I go about 3 weeks between trips to Walmart, so I try and buy enough food when I do make it to the grocery store.

I understand if it's for weeks, but not just for a few days... :gig

It was a great show today. Sadly though - those in the guild have huge tables they set their pottery on and you really don't get to meet or know the potter. All pottery is paid for in one place. BUT -- I did get to chat with a potter who has a studio right there. I had picked up two of his bowls and thought they were with the guild show. Went to pay and they said 'oh no, those aren't from our potters - you'll have to pay where you got them'. So I went back. Got to chat with him a bit - super nice guy, been doing pottery since '74. He asked if I wanted to know more about his pottery and all, and I said "Of course I do, I want to know who is coming to dinner". He had a sheet that explained his journey in pottery that he put in the bag. I will be back to his studio for more.
My haul:

Then I got to snuggle Kit a bit when I dropped DDIL off.
