Coffee anyone ?

I don't take any pharmacy drugs. I buy mine from my favorite dealer........

not really, but that just popped up as my first response.

Coffee is ready, I'm not. I'm tired, a lot. I haven't got my mojo back and I tire easily. Turned off alarm, went back to sleep. Have an hour to drink coffee, feed Tatli and the sheep in pens and turn 2 groups out on the field and get ready for church. And feed Max the horse.

Having coffee, normal....still light rains come & go. It's been a blessing because we were in moderate drought. This slow, over several days moisture is great for the ground. Pastures & crops are loving it. Low 60 nights, low 70 days....humid & cool. Not people nice but needed. Looks like tmrw the same, then warming & sunshine. Perfect.

Of course, this limits outside work to minimal. Goats aren't impressed. Chickens don't care. Cats are just laying around, sleeping. I'm bored! Might as well be at work.

We're in a string of cool days <YAY> 50s- low 70s! It's May Gray time - overcast. Loving it.
On the plate for today - DH and I will be tackling the Wild Tobacco forest in the barn turn out. And it IS a forest. It'll be a chop down and paint with @Baymule 's favorite for thistle. There a few pokeweeds in there as well --- never had either anywhere close. SIGH. Such is life, at least it's something to do together 🙃

Will be 90°F today, finally got the compactor welded up ready to fit my machine. So begins the fun of moving those house sections off the pad and compacting the pad today. I am behind on schedule.

I'll say it today in case I'm not on tomorrow. Happy Memorial Weekend to all and thanks to all who have served. I bought 2 flags today. I have been trying to put one up every Memorial Day where ever I'm working. This specific job is wrapping up so finishing for the most part on/during Memorial wkend so even the more so fitting.
I forgot the solar automatic yard lights to put under them so back to town tomorrow.

Also with this job wrapping up I got today off and I should be heading home next wkend.

@fuzzi I love the Spangled pics. I almost got Spangled Cornish instead of my Dark Cornish and recently got 6 Spangled old english game chicks. One nice thing about the hens color is that it is different than all the other breeds so it's easy to let them free range as chicks until it's time to separate and pen into specific breeding pens. I'm not sure how many of the other varieties hens are the same color as each other. Also a speckled pattern is good camo for predators and a "pretty" color to people.
