Never trust wikipedia

Cattle/bovine = name of species
cow = female bovine that has produced a calf
heifer = female bovine that has not produced a calf
bull = intact male bovine
steer = castrated male bovine

or Bullock = castrated male in the UK

so its never simple - bullock in US is young male still with bits ( I think )

In Australia and New Zeland Bullock = it might have its bits or it might not :lol: :lol: :lol:
Bullock in the US= an actress who has starred in movies such as "Speed", "Miss Congeniality", and "The Blind Side." :D
Aggi - is that the one who devorced the cheatin Jessie Jam ( best stop there - cant afford a lawsuit )

Getting back to the topic of your bulls Royd, I hope you'll give us photos and updates as your bulls mature. Until I came to this forum I had never even heard or seen a photo of a Belted Galloway...different looking for sure and kinda neat. I grew up on a cattle/grain farm in Saskatchewan and my Dad had Herefords...we also had a Black Angus bull for the first time young cows for the smaller heads, but pretty much only the regular red and white Herfords.

So can we self-edit ourselves out of this? I will do my part.
