Hello! I raise Holland Lops. I have a broken lilac buck and a chocolate VM doe. I wanted to breed them but I was curious to know what you all think the kits would come out looking like?

My first litter with her I bred her with my orange buck and all her babies were chocolate.

The genetics is so confusing, but I want to know if it would be possible to get some different colors or broken colors if I breed them.

Thank you!

Probably some color calculators on line. I used to keep up with horse colors way back when breeding for show. But bunnies...nope ☺️

Now, I just breed goats and while I love color and patterns, many are white here. Saanen genetics 🤣 my Boer bucks do add some eye candy! 👍 A good animal is good, no matter the color.

We have rabbit people -- someone will help, I'm sure. Most are more concerned with size than color -- meat. Welcome to the group.
