Cross-stitch anyone?

Hi,

In searching cross stitch the only posts I found were from at least a couple of years ago. I just wanted to share my latest cross-stitch project. It is called the Oriental Lady.

Somewhere around here I have a rooster cross-stitch that I finished about two years ago....

Oh that's pretty, I miss doing cross-stitch. Used to do a fair bit when I was younger but it's all packed away in our shed at home

Thank-you. Sorry you have your supplies packed away. It can be fun and relaxing. But sometimes it can be really frusterating. For this one I had to decide if I was going to rip out some stitching in the tree or turn it into a variation. I did not want to spend six hours or more to make it match the pattern. I doubt anyone would notice the difference or be bothered by it - and that makes it a variation instead of a mistake. I seem to recall in quilting an intentional mistake is called a humility square.
