We dont routinely feed the sheep grain but that does not mean they would not like to eat it each day! This morning we let the sheep out on to the front yard for a change. There happened to be some spare grain sat in a bucket that the piglets had not needed as they still had some left so Richard decided to talk to his girls.

Our St. Croix are actually quite aloof but there are a few that will do anything for grain. Redbud (Oak133) is usually the first one right there as is Cybele. As you can see some just were going to stay under the tree.

Here he is nearly getting a kiss :)

The girls can be quite pushy when they want to be.

Those are fun pictures :D

Our girls are about the same...but we have a couple that would have likely climbed on us if grain was the prize!!

Yep! We are really enjoying having sheep on the farm. Now if they would just hurry up & get those udders full of milk & produce some lambs that would be good.

Lol! We only have two and even tho they are a bit standoffish, they do get petty pushy when I bring out their 'corn' treat. I just love it when they call me "maaaaaa"!
