Isn't that satisfying?! I put up some more loose in the hay barn, mostly june grass. The calves love it and it beats buying hay they don't like 'cause it's too coarse. Beautiful dog and a well-decorated nest. Was it on the ground? We used to find killdeer and juncos frequently, pre-bird dog years. Hoping they come back now we have a farm dog.

It's in a cabinet I have over a large open doorway that has no door. Thought it was a mouse nest, so now there's only 3 eggs instead of 4. The bird is teeny tiny, silhouette looks like a sparrow when it's flying.

I bet the nest is a house wren. We get them around our barn. Very small bird. Hay looks real good.:clap

Super cool! I never knew you could make your own baler! I do not have enough land to bale enough feed for my horses unfortunately, but if I ever did (and had a LOT of spare time on my hands) I would certainly try this!
