I have a doe on her second kidding. Her first kidding was a bit difficult... (her doeling had gotten squished by a fallen wooden gate about a month old, she also had a bag infection her first kidding.) so this time was an axdental and we don't know when shes due but she keeps showing singns of early laber then nothing...
a couple days ago it was heavy breathing and not eating mutch(we thought early laber) but no baby then today she had a little bit of goo but there is no more goo since then... should it be concerning? She is a very skittish doe(if breed maters shes a boar/nubion cross) I think shes 4 or 5 years old

Have you looked into checking ligaments?
Assuming shes not fat and if you can catch her you might be able to give her a sanitary shave that extends to over her ligs so you can see them softening and disappearing and udder filling from across the field.

Other than that you may just have to wait it out. She's probably uncomfy and has lost her plug...so now we wait. It could be right now or it could be a few weeks.

How does her udder look Most of my does udders will blow up within about 6 - 12 hours or so of kidding - give or take a few hours. Ligaments will literally feel like they disappeared. If she's not too fat you can probably see the hollowing out of the area on both sides of the tail.

Does can lose their mucous plug from a month to a few hours before delivery. Hopefully she will give you a distinct set of signs when she's actually ready to delivery.

Good luck and please let us know how it goes.

Above photo (cant get a bag photo) patches are becuse she tried burning herself with a heat lamp(no injuries)

False labor is pretty common with Boer/Nubian crosses. I had a doe do this for three days straight before she actually delivered. Just keep a close eye on her discharge for any changes. Best of luck with the second kidding.

Update she kidded somtime today while I was away and one of my siblings was supposed to keep an eye on her... unfortunately we lost both kids and a little bit after discovering the first two we found another one dead just was hidden...

I am looking for a baby goat 24 or less hours old any bread prefer a large breed but will do anything... we are looking in the Okanagan area, wa****on.. becuse I just want to give her a chance to raise a kid
