And so it begins
This is one hot fire
Tried to get a picture that shows the size of the logs we're burning. It will take a few days for them to burn down.
One more stack to go in and then I hope we're finished and can fill in the pit.

Poplar word burns slow, especially when it's huge logs. These have been in the pit since 2024.

I have 5 burn piles that are sorta burned. I set the field on fire and had to beat out the flames. The fire burned all the little stuff, left the big logs and my little tractor couldn't bush up the leftovers. Maybe I'll ask my son to push up the logs so I can try again if we ever get out of this burn ban.
