I have a female pot belly pig. She is about 3 months old. She was doing great with going lofty outside for 3 days..then she was spade..and ever since she urinates s lot. I took her urine in to vet. It was so diluted that I had to not give her water for 12 hours then take another. It was still low so I was told to give her a salty pretzel for 5 days...then wait 1 month and do another test...waiting till beginning of Oct for test. She is still urinating frequently. In the morning she will go 3-5 times in an hour in a half. I give her water through out the day but keep it picked up between waterings...or she would drink constantly. Any ideas? I want to keep her inside but if this continues I can't. Thanks!

I have absolutely NO experience with PB's BUT what you have written does make it sound like there is something physically wrong with her. Excessive drinking in pigs is not normal nor do they pee all the time. You say it happened after surgery so I would suggest that she has maybe picked up an infection due to the surgery? You may want to ask your vet if they could give you a course of antibiotics. Don't let this lie, keep on it - something is NOT right.
