does not seem to trigger a huge response with some dairy in things like bread
You've said similar before and I've gone "Huh"?
There's no dairy in bread -- 4 ingredients -- water, flour, salt, yeast. No dairy. Of course toasting it and slathering it with butter is a whole 'nuther thing.

Sounds like you've got a great plan - 🙏 it all comes together. At least you you can feel you've finally found someone who can help and you're doing something.

@SageHill ... I am talking conventional bought bread... not homemade... and I do not often eat sourdough bread... never have... there are dairy products in conventional bought bread... whey, nf milk, different preservatives that have "mammalian bases" that no one would ever think about. I mostly have bread to make sandwiches... I seldom have bread with a meal unless it is a juicy steak that i want to sop up the juices... or a slice of bread to sop up the egg yolk on my sunny side up eggs.... so my bread intake is sporadic... The other day, store bought "homemade amish potato salad" set me off and looking at the ingredients, there is some dairy based preservatives used in it... gave it to DS....
I will have to make more things from scratch... no preservatives or flavor enhancers or anything like that...

Tuesday morning... it was ONLY down to 27 overnight... right at 31 now... cloudy... supposed to get some rain/snow showers but temps are forecast to hit upper 30's...
Going to be like skating out there... NOT GOOD.....
We have a good 4-6 inch layer of solidly frozen concrete style snow.... literally cannot put your boot through it... slicker than you know what on top...

Well, yesterday went okay... Took a long trip to this new wellness place, that specializes in the SAAT treatment for Alpha Gal...
Liked them... although the DO is soooo smart that she kinda could talk over your head. That said... UNFORTUNATELY..... I could not do the SAAT treatment...
I have an allergic response to the glues they use for surgical procedures... Does anyone remember that I had the horrible reaction to the tape/glue that they used for the "zip together" on the knee replacements... that I nearly went crazy with the pain for the irritation on the skin... and found that Burt's Bees liquid solution, that calmed the skin???? Well, those type of "surgical glues" are what they use on these infinitesimal needles that they put in the ear... to keep them in place... SO NO DEAL..... instead, there are many things that I did wind up testing positive for allergy wise... and there are sprays, that are supposed to "prime" your immune system to be able to deaden the response... so to speak... in other words, tiny amounts of exposure will retrain your body to NOT over react to the stimuli from these allergens...
This is all based on the fact that there is energy in your body, that will not occupy the same space as the problem, and you have to train your immune response to "push out" the offending energy so you have a positive energy that occupy's that space...
If anyone has any knowledge of the "Rife" system... the electromagnetic frequencies that are supposed to be inherent in every cell, and every type operates at a different frequency... so you can target problems because it will not affect surrounding cells.... This is NOT recognized by current conventional medicine... another of the "voodoo" things... yet mid eastern cultures believe in it and practice it.. INCLUDING things like acupuncture and acupressure....
ANYWAY... I was introduced to Rife frequencies principles over 25 years ago and did not put alot of credence into it... but was aware of the ideas...

So where this is going, is that I had several allergic responses to things...
First... Alpha Gal... BUT.... that goes hand in hand with many also having an allergic response to Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever.... yep.. got that allergic response... several other things... milk/dairy products.... also including mold.... and another mast allergic response....
SO, I could not do the SAAT treatment of acupuncture needles because of the allergy to the "glue"... we are going a different route... LONGER way around... but it might do the same thing... or at worst, alleviate the other allergies we are targeting, so that I can also do the acupuncture thing in the ear and use the glue without reacting to it...
I am doing a series of sprays... think little atomizer mists... under the tongue 3 x a day... for the next 8 weeks... YEP.... PITA but these are the way to put tiny amounts into the body, to basically desensitize the reaction of the body and to "push out" the frequency that these electromagnetic waves work on in the particular cells... so kill the reaction of the cell to the allergen... I have read about it before, heard about it... so not like it is some totally foreign concept to me...

Understand right now... that this is NOT accepted by conventional medicine... this is not supported by the medical community.... considered to be unsubstantiated and even malpractice.... at worst... silly waste of time and money at best with no known benefits... YET.... it is accepted by the NIH that this SAAT treatment is VALID for treatment of lessening the symptoms of Alpha gal..... (Soliman Aricular Acupunture Treatment).... Putting the allergic response to Alpha Gal into REMISSION.....

In other words... getting your body back into a balanced rhythm... so it is not fighting its self... and conventional medicine using a "pill" to cover up the symptoms... and treat just that, not the underlying cause...

This is also supposed to work for people with all sorts of other allergies... INCLUDING gluten and wheat based problems... because it targets the individual problems...

If at the end of 8 weeks... I show substantial responses to alleviating the allergic responses in my body... if the allergic reaction to alpha gal still exists.,...and that is a possibility... even if lessened some... as long as I don't have the allergic reaction to the glue.... I can go on and do the SAAT treatment then...
AND if I am lucky.. this might alleviate that in the process and I won't need to do that...

You don't CURE the allergy to this... but you put it into remission so you can function and not have the constant huge reaction when you eat some red meat of some kind... Through the electromagnetic impulses that go through your body.... it tells your body that the particular allergen is NOT attacking you, and lets you NOT react to it in the system...

So for the next 8 weeks, I am going to have to refrain from eating red meat... or ingesting any dairy products directly... So far it does not seem to trigger a huge response with some dairy in things like bread... like a pbj sandwich on bread... but I am NOT going to push my luck.....

THIS REALLY STINKS.... but being able to breathe has it's benefits... Believe me.... Not having that sick nauseous feeling or the episodes of diarrhea that you have no control over, or the congestion that makes you feel like you are suffocating or drowning because you cannot get your throat clear to breathe.... is a BIG PLUS for me right now...

Funny thing is, during the conversation of eating/drinking... and my saying that no milk has been a real big change as that was my go to often... she asked if I drank soda... and I said very seldom... used to but pretty much stopped... 1 or 2 cans a month maybe... she said that to switch it up from juices and water... tea and coffee is also allowed... that an occasional soda to break the monotony is not all bad... BUT.... to get the kind made with PURE CANE SUGAR... not the artificial sweeteners... pure cane sugar is processed to be "pure" and will not cause the same responses as these artificial sweeteners... and it will curb the craving that artificial sweeteners tend to create...

This might also help to reset my body in regard to being able to lose some weight... as it stops "hoarding fat" and rebalances my metabolism... not a cure all but some people find that as a small side benefit sometimes...

It is creating a "WELLNESS" in your body... not treating a symptom that the underlying CAUSE does not get addressed.

Gotta go and get outside and get started on things here... Sun is mostly out,,, it is in the low 40's.... WARMING.... Hope it melts alot of this icy "concrete" pretty fast...
I'm intrigued, and will be following your progress.

Diet changes and chiropractic adjustments have helped me with allergies and respiratory ailments, helped Ron's HBP, and our daughter's migraines. Years ago a Korean martial artist did acupressure (no needles) on my arm, which immediately freed up muscle spasms in my shoulder.

There are many paths to wellness or relief, and don't involve pharmaceuticals.

Tuesday afternoon... just noticed I am now at 1000, pages... nearly 10,000 posts... HOLY COW:ya:ya

Heading to the farm to help DS in a few... Lost M which was sad but not totally unexpected.,... She had been able to stand on her own, once lifted... for 10-15 min at a time, but once down she was crawling around and got her back down the hill just enough to compromise her being able to "lay up" like a normal cow.. Last night she got in a bad position.... she was gone this morning DS said.
He took the calf up to snyder's... I got her to nurse the jersey for a little bit... she was not totally interested... because she had been getting some from her mother and from the red cow with the broken pelvis... So when I got done with them... I took silage from the cart he brought up, to the jersey and then locked the "new calf, and the jersey steer on her for the past month... and locked them together on one side of the barn... I am sure the jersey steer is going to be P.O.ed.... BUT... this will mean she will have more milk in the morning... and they will both go on her at the same time... and this will get the new calf the idea that it needs to go on the cow ... since she was stealing already off the red cow, it's not a new concept... I just want her to get the idea that she needs to go on this cow... The jersey did pick up her foot a couple times while she was eating her grain... so I do not want the little calf to get discouraged... So for a day or 2, I might keep both calves off the cow for 12 hours or so... leave them together maybe during the day... separate at night to make sure the new calf will go right on the cow... Plus want to get her to start producing more and the stimulation will help... Once the calf gets that she needs to go on the cow... even if the cow picks up her foot... then they can all go together...figure couple days...

It warmed up into the mid 40's... sun came out for a little bit and it hit 50... the hard crust has some give to it and it is melting... not fast, but it is shrinking... at least I could walk out to the chickens and have some give so not near as slick... Supposed to have some rain/snow showers... so it will melt it down more... similiar weather all week... Thank goodness ....

Did the sprays twice... need to do 3 times a day... they have no taste or flavor really so not a big deal.... I was so concerned that they would have a bad taste and I would fight myself to follow the procedure... thank goodness.

So, I am going to go down the barn in a few minutes to help him load the cow... she will go to the landfill where we are lucky to be able to still take them... stops from having too many coyotes hanging around by not having a "disposal" spot on the farm....

Got the green car out of the ice/snow... so I can take the meters tomorrow to the farm for the farmer that "has to" do a test....
Sent a text to all my farmers, letting them know how things are looking and that I should be back to testing some in another week... all the responses have been great so far... I am going to give myself a few more days to just feel good about breathing and being able to actually stand upright and function.

1,000 pages! Wow! And I have read them all!

Sorry about M. Fortunate for the calf that you have the nurse cow available. Or rather, fortunate for you that you won’t have to bottle feed. 😁

That sounds really promising about the allergy remission treatment. I hope it works!
Fortunate for both me and the calf...

The idea of mild exposure over time has been used for a long time with p-nut allergies for kids. The sprays should help.

So I'm thinking and bacon grease is a great flavor enhancer but, comes from pigs. Gosh, you're gonna have to give that up ? 🥺 I suppose almost all eating out, too. This is life altering -- like you say, some preservatives or add ins just don't come to mind as you stuff your mouth. Label reading.

Such a shame you lost the cow but luckily you got the calf out of her. And the nurse cow to raise it.

I sure hope that the treatments you are getting now will help. The thought of not being able to eat red meat or dairy (all things love) is horrible. Hopefully f these treatments work you will be able to have occasional red meat and dairy again.
