I know im a little late, but soaked beet pulp is like magic! Ive used it on every horse i have ever rescued to bring tjeor weight up and fill out their top lines. Even in the winter all my horses get soaked beet pulp at night im the winter and soaked alfalfa cubes in the morning. Plus a grain ration.
