Greetings and welcome to BYH. There's quite a bit of shared info and experience regarding deworming and goats in general in the various threads. Most will recommend that you not deworm until you have a fecal done to determine if it's even an issue. Followed up by a fecal a week after completion to ensure the results are what was expected/anticipated. You should be able to do a word search (top right) and find threads. Once you open one, other similar ones will display i a window down at the bottom. So browse around and make yourself at home! Glad to have you with us and congrats on your new goats! Oh, couple other things... please put at least your general location in your profile as it's normally pretty important when asking for help/advice (climate and such), and please share some pics of your goats (or anything really)... we're all pic addicts here. :D

Congratulations!

As far as deworming, it is always good to consult with your veterinarian. Many do use a dewormer a month prior to kidding.
Ivermectin is thought of a safer dewormer during pregnancy.
There are different thoughts on the matter... some automatically deworm, others base it on Egg Counts & FAMACHA scores.

I used to be an automatically deworm a month before kidding kind of owner, I used Ivermectin. Then we started doing fecals and never saw any eggs so I stopped. I live where there is zero rain from May-Oct and I don't have irrigated pastures so worms are not an issue for me. But the Ivermectin never bothered my very pregnant goats.
