Fix BYH 'Current Herd Animal(s)' area

When I go to my profile page and click the little 'About' tab, it shows 'Current Herd Animals', but when I go to add more in my settings, it will only let me do so many characters. I have to shorten things like 'chickens' to 'chickns'. Is there any way I/somebody else could fix this? I also have to leave out the spaces.

The current # of characters is 30, but I've bumped it up to 50.

Is that enough?
