I don't really feed mine much fruit. They get the occasional melon rind, strawberry top, etc. Mostly mine get fresh greens, Calf Manna and rolled oats for treats.

For fruit I give my rabbit melon rinds, oranges, tomatoes (not realy a fruit), and I tryed strawberries but they don't eat them. In September too November we get alot of apples off our apple trees so the rabbits usually get an apple, or more, a day.

Since I started this thread, I've found out my bunnies love strawberries, papaya and apples the best. Next year when we get our fresh tomatoes from the garden, I'll give them a taste of that as well. DH loves tomatoes and our crop wasn't that big this year. Too much heat, skin way to hard and very slow in developing. But when developed, the fruit meat was so sweet.

Hoping for a better crop next year. New location for our tomatoes and better preparation of the ground. Thanks bunnies! :)
