OEGB pullet and Dominique eggs on the left, Speckled Sussex pullet eggs on the right. The older girls are slackers, though one of the eggs on the left is a bit bigger, so maybe a Dominique is laying?

Bantam size ceramic egg trays are from last Spring's chicken swap. I love them.

For it being winter, looks like they're laying really well! 🙂

The Sussex pullets started laying around mid-December. :clapI've been getting 6 eggs weekly from Dinah, an OEGB. I got two eggs today from that coop, suspect the second came from Julia.

I keep chicken feed in coffee cans, saves me a few steps daily.

I also keep plastic grocery bags stored in coffee cans, around the backyard. If I need to clean up after the dog or need a makeshift glove the bags are handy.

But I still have plenty of cans left...

These are unopened. We squirrel away ⬆️ when coffee is on sale.

Will this be enough?

:D =D

All with lids. I put them back in the shed, for you. :hugs
Wow.... that would be great... hope they don't take up too much space...
Thank You very much....

I thought of both of you yesterday, as I was mixing in some Folgers with some Seattle Best coffee. I'm slowly weaning hubs and son from the pricy stuff to Folgers.
The Folders medium roast is good, but DS and I both prefer Black Silk. I drink my coffee black, so taste is important. Chock Full of Nuts Arabica is good, too, but I have to find it on sale.

I bit the bullet, and took some of my PTO check to purchase blocks to finish redoing my raised bed garden walls. All the cedar wood is rotting, so I need to get going.

This was all I could accomplish with what my SUV could bear...

...so I am having them delivered. Since the delivery fee is the same for one or two pallets of blocks, I ordered two.

I was told they will not deliver across dirt or grass, so by the driveway is the only option. I moved some fence posts and created a spot that I hope will be acceptable.

I moved these to the edge of the woods.

Red flags in place for where I want the pallets.

Delivery window is 8-12 tomorrow, so I guess I'll be up early to move cars.

It will be so nice once you have it all finished.
