All I can say is what my experience was. I think with any feeding practice there are people it will work for and people it won't. All we can do is share what worked and what didn't :) For me it worked. I'm sorry if Joel had issues with it. They have a great farm down there.

yup, and in fact I gave my chickens a bunch of maggots last week. I had forgotten to pick up a bag from a 40 lb case of chicken necks and when I found it the next day it had tons of maggots in it. I stuck a long stick in it and propped it up over the run so the worms fell out for them.
I wasnt too worried but thought I'd mention it so everyone can make their own call.
