A few photos of the dogs and fresh flowers in the house. My partner would get fresh flowers once a week so we always had fresh flowers in the house. I try to get them on special occasions to remind me of her.

I totally get it. Just advance warning, as animals age out and go on, animals that I shared with BJ, it ripped my heart out all over again. Not to be a Debbie Downer, I just don't want it to hit you like a ton of bricks. It will hit you like a ton of bricks, but at least you know you have friends here.

Uggg. I’ve been thinking about that. It will be with the dogs. We made the decision to get them together. We traveled with them and had them shown. We enjoyed sitting ringside and watching them. Quinn is my oldest he’s 8.
One time she said to me “ I’ll miss you and I’ll miss the dogs “

The youngest one is 3 we got her a few months before the cancer diagnosis. My partner insisted on a puppy. She is the daughter of our middle dog. I said “ wait for the second litter” well, Miss impatience could not wait. In hindsight, I’m glad we did not wait or we would have had the cancer diagnosis and not gotten a 3 rd dog. #3 “Romy “ is my dog. She is my comic relief, my emotional support dog.
