GLENMAR FARM JORUNAL

Went really well. Eigg was calm and docile.
It amazes me how easy these cattle are to work with.

Got the honey super on today. I had not touched them in almost 2 yrs. They were bubbling over in those boxes. They definitely needed more room.

I get it. There are some things that you just lose interest in doing alone. Even if all the help you got was a cheering section, that is missing and your interest just evaporates. Then slowly or maybe all at once, it starts coming back to you. Congratulations, you are adjusting, healing and finding that life is still a wonderful gift.

It’s been almost 17 months. Yes. You are accurate. I still cry to myself , but I’m slowing healing.

Been crazy busy on the farm. Getting new fence up in the large cattle field. The buyer's loan did not get accepted on the land. My realtor called me today and said there's another guy who has already seen the land and has cash. :fl
Cattle broke out the other day and almost got the gate off where McDougal is. There would have been a big bull fight in the barnyard. :rolleyes:Thank goodness I was home to get everyone back where they belonged. I decided to advertise the heifer calf for $4000. Had 3 people immediately interested. One is coming out this weekend and may want two. That would be excellent as it would fund the rest of my fence projects for the rest of spring. Here's a few photos from yesterday. We still need to attach ends and tighten. There's sooo much grass out there. They will be doing the happy dance.
