I used to lease the back 25 acres for hunting I did not do it this year, because I’m selling it.
The hunters are still bringing me venison. Yum.
I also let them use the stock trailer. A few guys raise 1 or 2 beef a year and pigs.

After a few years with no chickens ( I was cutting down a bit to focus on my partners cancer battle). I decided to try
Bielefelders. I got a few. I want to hatch more this year and save extra roosters for the freezer.


After cleaning the coop this morning, I got my first egg!!!!!!:weee

Might sound funny, but I can't remember the last time that I had a farm fresh egg.
