I read somewhere on here about ways to deter goats from chewing on fence posts and trees using Irish Spring soap.
I took a bar out to the field to run on the posts. It did not work with my goat Mazy. She tried to eat the bar and kept licking it as I'm trying to use it.
Then for 20 minutes she kept licking her lips and snorting foam through her nose. I laughed so hard. She is fine and grazing.
I don't think I'm going to try that again. I do believe Mazy will eat anything, seriously.
