How much do people charge for 1 quart or 1 gallon of goat's milk?

A dairy here sells goat milk for $7 a half gallon. Expensive, but store bought goat milk is even pricier.

I've seen it on craigslist for 6 to 8 dollars a gallon, but I don't think it's quite legal to sell here (the listings usually say for pet use). There's a grey area of raw milk sold through 'herd shares' (the buyers 'buys' part of the herd so it's kind of technically their own milk...).

We do not sell goats milk typically because of our state law prohibiting sales for human consumption. We are legally allowed to sell for animals, soapmaking etc.
Very rare but if I know someone that needs it for a bum lamb or goat it is $10 gallon. Puppies & kittens $3 qt. I also must KNOW for a fact it is NOT for human consumption. LOL

I will not give any advice here...$9 dollars a quart so $36 per gallon, lol! :thThis is the one reason why we don't buy goats milk!
