Grain for whethers

Quick question: What counts as 'grain' for goats? Specifically whethers? Do you have to watch intake of all grain type feed? Does pelletized goat feed hold the same dangers as rolled mix, sweet mix, or just whole grain wheat or corn?

Pelletized goat feed is fine, they are usually balanced and some will even have added ammonium chloride to help prevent urinary calculi. It is any feed that does not have balanced calcium/phosphorus...2:1 that you have to be careful of. Wheat hay is bad too.
