Wandering around the pastures, I’m finding a wide variety of plants. I’m taking pictures then using google plant ID to see what they are. I thought it would make a good reference for others. Please add your own pictures and ID so we all can learn.

I was excited to see these. There’s not a lot of them, hopefully they will spread.

I always thought this was some kind of wild oats. It is a type of brome grass. I had no idea. It’s a great winter grass. It’s going to seed now and the sheep aren’t eating it.

I like this...different things here. 😁. Is this an app? How do I get it to work ? Sure have a few things to identify!
I have an I-phone and it is an option at the bottom of the picture. There is a box with arrow for sending the picture, a heart and an i in a circle. I touch that, it says look up plant, I touch that and get a couple to pick from.

@SageHill also has this, do you have an I-phone or something different?

@Mini Horses .....HOLY COW... never thought I would actually have something on the phone that someone else didn't already have... I have the Andriod RAZR... and there is an app called Picture This...... and it is for identifying plants... YEP... found it by accident as an ad on something... It costs like $30 a year after a short trial period.... haven't used it yet... but have it on my "desktop" or whatever it is called... and will activate it once we have much stuff to look at... it might not be what you are looking for but it looks like what @Baymule is showing...
