This morning while checking our Mini-rexs' I noticed a large bare spot under one of my doe's neck. Not sure how I hadnt noticed this before except its in a fold that unless you lay her back you can't see it. Its about the size of a half dollar and just hard like a scab. Doesn't look infected. I am wondering if maybe on her last litter she just pulled to much hair and damaged her skin but its almost so close to her head that I don't know if she could reach it to pull hair. There is nothing in her cage except the feeder so I don't think she scraped or cut it on anything.
Not sure what to do with it, if anything. I was thinking about putting triple anti-biotic ointment on it and see if it improves.
