Yes. I did. And she ate it up. Not sure if there was more than one placenta if there were multiples.

it may take a while to just finish cleaning out in fact she'll have discharge for probably at least a week. If it seems ls not cleaning out two cc's of oxytocin SQ will help that, but it sounds like she's doing everything normal. I regularly give the oxy and the three days of oral cmpk(3days 50-60cc for full size goat with an oral drench) to help clean out, bring on milk, and prevent milk fever.

I am late here but Congratulations on your new Goats and kid. I am currently waiting on a birth myself and two more mamas in April. The one I am waiting on now usually doesn't give many signs but I am monitoring a growing udder and ligaments. She doesn't get very big but had twins last time. My oldest one gave no signs in 2019. No udder ligaments were stiff but 2 hours later I looked out were she was grazing and she had twin bucks beside her.
