Chillin' with the herd
hi folks! excited to be here : D i was raised around goats and have been keeping goats along with my sister for years, but i haven't owned goats until recently, when she gifted me her herd! (she felt like she needed to focus more on her horses!) i have a lot to learn for sure! the herd are all purebred nigerian dwarf goats, some papered, some not- besides our 4 does, we also have 4 wethers (hoping to train to pull soon!) and a buck. right now i'm between focusing on building up our papered stock, or outcrossing to an angora buck to switch to a nigora herd! (does anyone have experience with nigoras??) either way i love our beauties and am seeking to give them the happiest, humanest, healthiest lives possible
