Hello everyone, I am new to this group and to having a goat herd. I started with 2 doelings last year and now I am up to 4 does, 1 wether and just got my new buckling. I am so excited.

Something that ya can do that will help ya and any that may answer a question that ya have, is to put a general reference to your location on your banner. This helps in knowing your location, because some issues can be affected by the weather conditions in your region....it is much different here in Florida than the conditions in Utah or the Northeastern US.
I'm sure ya will enjoy your goats and there are plenty here that have them and are more than willing to share their experiences and knowledge with ya to keep them healthy and also any behaviors that ya may be unfamiliar with....all will share what they can with ya. What breed of goats do ya have? Are ya planning on using them for milk, meat, or just to enjoy watching them?.....if ya have just gotten a buck, are ya gonna put the wether with him for company in a separate pen/field? Do ya have any other animals?
We all love pics, so feel free to share those....as ya browse the forums and threads ya will see plenty of pics shared by others here......

There is also a forum on just goats that has loads of good posts and articles on just about everything goat related.
There is so much information in here. If your looking for anything in particular, you can type it in to the search bar and find the answer or threads with similar questions.
