Hello, my name is September,

We just started to homestead this year! So far we have too many birds(chickens, ducks, turkeys, guineas) to count, and a goat (hopefully another soon). We started this adventure after almost 15 years living here. Its a joint venture with my parents and my husband. (I grewup in this house and hope to keep it in the family)

I joined backyard herds as im sure the poor guy in Franklin County, VA would like some peace from my questions.

I can't wait!

Hi September - I'm glad you decided to join us. We have sheep but there are a ton of members who have goats and all levels of expertise.

What I have always really liked about this forum that most of the members love to help and if they don't know the answer, they will say so (unlike some forums I have been on).

That gives me a lot of peace. I've been on the BackYard Chicken forum for almost two years but never really knew this existed. I may join up with other forums of the same "brand" as things continue to expand.
