Welcome to the forum. We have sheep, they are on a dirt floor. I practice deep litter, which is easy for me to do, as we park a round bale just under the eve of the roof. There is plenty of waste hay to spread around. We rake up leaves in the fall and put them in the barn too. We deep clean a couple of times a year, digging it out to the bare dirt. I do my chicken coop the same way. I have enough to do around here without sifting the shavings for poop berries and cleaning up pee on a daily basis. I'm just not that OCD.

Sheep barn clean out is wonderful stuff for the garden and we spread it on the pastures.
