Hi Ya'all,

I'm new to this forum, but a member of BYC also. I am getting 2 5 mo. old Nubian girls tomorrow and I'm so excited. We have built them a lovely goat house, so they can be locked up at night, and a nice large pen, for daytime use.

I have bought: cracked corn, sunflower seeds, hay, N timidator show goat food, crimped oats and a large bunch of carrots.

They are beautiful little girl goats, one looks like a fawn, white spotted. They are tame as can be, and are being purchased by a lady who raises goats and sells goat milk. She is very fussy about who gets her goats, I had to submit my pedigree. (Just kidding, but almost!!)

My question is: Is l & l/2 cups of feed twice a day correct?? I'm going to be talking to the breeder tomorrow, but it seems like that is the norm.....

:welcome Waving a hello from CA :frow

Can't help you on the feed for your Nubian..maybe post it over in the goat section if someone doesn't see it here.....
We had a nubian, gosh I loved that silly goat. She ate with one horse, which was her best friend.... so I never really fed her.

Welcome!! And congratulations on your new goaties!!!
Yes, 1- 1/2 cups of the Intimidator pellet sounds about right.
Personally I would cut out the other ingredients and just feed the goat grain/hay/browse, just my opinion though.

I have Nigerians so I can't help you on the feed amount but I'm sure talking to the breeder you bought them from and even talking to other local breeders will give you the answer you are looking for as well as others on the this forum that have Nubians.

Good luck with your goats! :D
