Hello,
I have been raising livestock for 60 years, sheep, hogs, and beef cattle. I also started raising chickens when I was gifted a hen about 15 years ago. I have a degree in animal science and worked in toxicology research. I am always learning how much I do not know and appreciate the experiences of others.

Do you still have cattle, sheep, and hogs? What breeds?

And what breed chickens did you get?

Welcome from a long time animal owner also. No degrees in anything but "hard knock learning"... I too enjoy learning from others even today. Can always learn something from someone else. We are "bigger farmers" than most, although I am a "homesteader mentality at heart".... I will be back on here in a few days, life has thrown us a couple of real hard knuckle balls this past week....
