Hello from New Jersey!

Hi everybody!

I have finally decided to create an account on Backyard Herds! I have been a member on Backyard Chickens for two months and decided I needed a place to ask questions about my goats!

I currently have 4 goats and will be breeedinf my two does in the fall. My herd consists of 1 Nigerian Dwarf who turned 1 this year, 2 Pygmy/Nubian mix who turned 5 on March 19th. (Lucy and Liam) and Lucy's 2-month-old little buckling Luther.

I have been showing my goats in the 4-H fairs at Salem, Cumberland, Glouster, and Hunterdon for the past two years and expect to continue until I graduate from 4-H.

Greetings and welcome to BYH from Tn! So glad you joined us. Look around and see what interesting stuff you can find. You'll get to "meet" folks at the same time. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... PLEASE put at least your general location in your profile. It could be very important if/when you ask for or offer help or advice. You know, climate issues and such. I recommend at least your state as most folks won't be able to figure out where if you put anything more specific (county, town, street, etc) by itself. Old folks like me will never remember from this post & look there first. To add it, mouse hover over Account top right and a drop down will appear. Click on Personal Details and scan down.
