I have an almost 2 year old La Mancha buck in with 3 ladies of about the same age. I have seen them come into estrus many times, and Brownie (buck) cover them, but still no kids. I give them free range on 3 acres with hay supplement, free choice on minerals and a mineral lick, and they do get a small amount of grain as I live in North Florida so we don't have the best nutrition in our pastures. Any advice? I know one of the does has had a kid before (singleton) and I have seen some bagging up on two of them does but no babies.

How long have you had them?

I have had them all since they were 6 months old. The doe that had a kid came pregnant (unknown to me or her seller) so I got a bonus 4 months later.

No exact ages so...almost 2, had since 6 mos...most kids born let's say Feb. He may .not have been fertile that first breeding season but should be now. Seasonal breeders but, FL heat and you may be off a month or so from me, in VA. Generally Aug thru Feb most active. I'd guess they are bred now and will kid this winter. You can have them tested for pregnancy.

Few goats are infertile. ;) If they came from local farm or another area could have make a difference in cycling until acclimated. If bagging, be ready for kids within a couple months. Some bag earlier, slower, esp if first timers. Any pics? Are sides sticking out?

Welp the girls that exhibited bags have since lost them (bags not kids as I searched the pasture to make sure they hadn’t miscarried). I will post pictures tomorrow. I am hoping for kids at some point. Silly goats 🤦🏽‍♀️😂
