    Look at the crime/drug activity in Extreme (NORTH) East Tenn before you seriously consider that area.

    I echo what MikeCHS said about the Memphis area as well.

    When we were looking for property we used city-data.com. I gives a lot of info in a quick easy to read format. We eliminated a lot of places based on that info a lot of times before ever even seeing any property.

    Have you looked at Niche? It's a good site for learning more about any town/city...the crime rates, the real estate costs etc.

    Thanks!!! We’ve been looking at the land vs city/county because we’re wanting for 75+ acres but now that we’ve narrowed the land choices down I need to research the area!
