Hey all. I am a small farmer of pigs, goats, chickens and rabbits. Any regulars here?

Well, I'm not sure if I count as a "pig farmer," but we have four pigs we bought as weaners to raise for the freezer. Did two last year. Not enough! :p

Wouldn't call myself a pig farmer but I currently have one...3 is the most I've had at a given time.

We have 1 Pot-bellied pig. He is more of a pet than farm animal though. :)

I have a boar and a sow (on the video camera right now as she is due today!!!). I also have 3 youngsters from her last litter headed to the freezer (well one won't make it past the pig roast next month). She is huge poor thing is rolling around and around and very uncomfortable.

At my dad's place we have red wattles and durocs. I'm trying to talk him into tamworth as well. I'm the "medical stuff person" for all our animals. We also have 3 adults plus a recent little from some pot bellies that were dumped in our yard.

I did two berkshire last year for the freezer

one berk/tamworth went in the freezer a couple of weeks ago (yummy!).

I have a berk tam cross to go to freezer camp in September and

I have a 10 month old pure tamworth gilt (Ginger) which is undoubtable very preggers by a 3/4 tam, 1/4 berk 10 month old boar (Boris).

PattySH... can you post the action...? Not sure if this is possible so we would settle for birthday pictures. :fl
