I'm so glad I came across this community; I have been bopping all over the interwebz looking for something like it.
At any rate, hello! My family and I are on a journey to self-sustainability. Right now we have rabbits (the reason I am here) and chickens. Eventually we would like to add goats, horses, and (if I have MY way) cows.
I have 3 rabbits currently, a REW pet NZ who is about 5 years old, a broken blue NZ doe, a opal (I think) buck, and a litter of kits in the grow out pen. I am currently searching locally for another doe to add to my small but growing herd. Our breeders are our pets, our kits are our food and commodity.
I hope to learn lots of great stuff here, so I'll probably be lurking for a bit!
