Hi there,
I've never really used this forum very much because I don't have the appropriate animals but I have a breeding pair of guinea hogs now. Mostly, I do chickens and therefore am on BackYard Chickens more, also as SnowPeeOstrichU. Feel free to PM me there, as I'm more likely to see it. I know a fair bit on raising chicks by hand, adding to a chicken flock, broodiness, and can recognize roosters a fair bit but am still working on that skill to cover more breeds. I posted on my guinea hogs in the pig section- how do I tell when the girl is pregnant?
I have 17 chickens:
Oldest are:
Pee, White Plymouth Rock
Ostrich, Barred Plymouth Rock
You, Barred Plymouth Rock
Then 2nd Oldest are:
And, Barred Plymouth Rock Rooster
Peaches, Red Sex Link
Lessa, Americauna
Marilyn, Americauna
Then 2nd Youngest are:
Del, Brahma
Menolly, Brahma
Youngest are not all named..
Polish Crested Rooster
5 toed Salmon Faverolle
3 probably Cochins
Sparrow, an Egyptian Fayoumi
Brekke, probably a Maran
Hawk, looks like an Americauna but she probably isn't because the youngest are all supposed to be more rare breeds

from Louisiana! I have about 45 chicks and chickens. I've always wanted some Salmon Faverolle's, I think they are so beautiful!
