Hello!
I have a bunch of horse flies that are tearing up my pigs! (and me as well) What should I do? Thanks!

Get a horse! Sorry - my lame attempt at humor...

I can't think of anything that would work with horse flies unless you look for a commercial repellant product. Wish I had a better answer...
There is a natural product called Bug off Garlic for horses that is supposed to work well on horse flies - but it's kinda pricey. I don't have any personal experience with it so I can't really tell you if it's awesome.

We had them bad a month ago. They were leaving open welts on my feeders. But always in the same spots. I frequently sprayed the wounds with hydrogen peroxide. And the little devils when they would land on the soars. Took awhile. They were also biting ear tips on my breeders. I think the rain corrected the infestation by keeping them from reproducing to quickly. Still have them few and far. Not as bad. Good luck to you.
