How do you treat pneumonia?

Hello friends!
I was curious what treatments you ise to treat pneumonia in your herds? I have two goats and a sheep ill right now. Thank you

There are more people that know about pneumonia but I've seen you two talk about it a fair amount!

Ok you are going to need antibiotics for them. When my ewe got sick over the summer we got two doses of excede, which fixed her up in a few days. Call your vet and go over what would be best for your critters. Hope they get better!

I use Oxytetracycline in the form of Duramycin or Biomycin. It has always worked for me and I figure that I will start with the drugs I can get OTC and if it doesn't help then I will call my vet and get the big guns.

I now vaccinate for pneumonia so I seldom see it anymore.

You may need banamine from your vet to bring down the fever.

You really should be consulting a vet.
Are you sure it's pneumonia? What are their temps and what symptoms are they showing.

Have y'all been experiencing sudden weather changes? Odd that three would be sick at the same time. I'm thinking this is more than just pneumonia… something else is going on. Especially since you have a small herd.
