How long should you keep a cria coat on?

My boy is 2 weeks old now.

How cold is it? For me it really depends on how cold it is and if they are shivering. Usually by 2 weeks old you should be able to remove it but sometimes they may need it at night if it is really getting cold. I probably use coats longer than a lot of people but it is more important to me that they use their energy for growing and not keeping warm.

It will be near 60 during the day and mid 30s at night all this week. I know the one he has on now is too small now but I have a bigger one.

Definitely take it off during the day. You could probably leave it off but see how it goes.
