How long to continue eye medicine? (blind calf/pink eye)

I believe that's what I have, the tall bottle. a friend just gave me a new bottle with her birds thankfully. It says on the label 3fl oz for first day & 1.5 for days 2, 3, 4... that sounds pretty close to what you're saying.

I was wondering about just drenching her,kinda suspeted it would make the milk taste gross. thank you for the help!
